Our next stop after leaving Lafayette on our way to Florida was at the Ft. Bayou Brewing Company.
This was a Harvest Host and I was looking forward to ‘not cooking’ for a change. They said they had 7 sites available for the night. When arrived, there were all ready 5 campers in the parking lot, but we were able to maneuver into a tight spot in the back. They said that the Brewery opened at 4pm and within 15 minutes of 4pm the parking lot was packed with patrons! When we came out there were an additional 4 campers! It was a great overnight stay and we made some more new friends on the road!
Next stop – Shepard State Park – Gautier MS for an over night stay..
